Big radius great for performance and i like the look. My dyno guy says a 2 into 1 is a must if u want peak performance. Style and brand are a personal choice.
I have had both and the pro pipe run super for me. I have added the S&S583 EZ and boy am happy
Thanks Buch! I'm leaning towards the Pro Pipe. I think that is the best way to go. Do you remember what your numbers were for TQ/HP on each of the pipes? Were the cams done afterward?
I've been watching that thread aces. Thanks. I'm not doing my mods until Feb/March so I've got some more time to think about it. To clarify, I wasn't trying to bash Bassani. I love the look of their pipes and wanted to go that route. I've just developed more of a comfort level with the V&H based on what I've read and heard.
I know what you mean. Those pipes are all expensive and I just want to get it right the first time. Not just trying to help myself but everyone looking for new pipes.
Hope Iv been of some help and not sounding in disagreement but looking for the best pipe. As Iv said before, I have always used Vance &H, but a longer pipe will have the tendancy to scrape in turns, where Bassani rides higher and has the shorter pipe.I dont think anyone here was bashing products. I was meaning Venders do bashing to sell their in house line.
I like my Pro Pipe and have never scraped once but then again maybe i don't ride as hard as others. It rides no lower than the bottom pipe on the stock exhaust.
