Going to get 12" apes for my '12 FXDC. Narrowed it down to Khrome Werks Narrow Glide apes or Burly Narrow Glide apes. Narrow is definitely the way to go for me for the Dyna.
Been poking around and haven't heard anything bad about the Khrome Werks. Have heard good things about the Burly. Specs/measurements are similar.
Khrome Werks are $60. Burlys are $130. Is this a case of "you get what you pay for" or will I not be able to tell the difference?
Any input on the quality of the Khrome Werks would be appreciated (finish, chrome quality, fit). Thanks
I've seen a few pictures of the Burly's and they look like they fit the midglide trees nicely. I don't remember seeing the Khrome Works. I'm running Biltwell's 12" apes and they line up almost perfectly with the midglide trees.
Love my narrows. I got the 12" Burlys w/ 1" LA Chopper risers. My buddy just got a set installed on his '12 Wide Glide. DennisKirk.com has them cheap for $100 + $10 shipping. CLICK HERE
