FXD Wheels - What To Do?

I don't want black wheels with black rubber behind black sliders. I prefer some contrast. I learned my lesson with polished wheels on my Wide Glide and will probably chrome these.
when we polish wheels we also use a clear that is specially formulated for polished metal , this way you never have to worry about upkeep on the polish... all these are polished and clear
these are coated and we brushed the lips rather than polish
to give you an idea how it works... this is my house door knocker, i polished the brass and then cleared it... this pic was taken 2 years after i put it on my door... i took it off when we painted the house to repaint the door... this is after 2 years of chicago winter and summers and rain and all else mother nature could throw at it... sure looks fresh to me!
