Default Pics of fairings and batwings on Dyna's

After reading several threads lately from people asking questions or posting requests for help or request for pics I thought it would be cool to have a thread with a collection of pics. I have searched quite a bit before I put one on my Fat Bob and never saw a thread dedicated solely to just pics.

First - WE ALL KNOW SOME OF YOU HATE BATWINGS AUDIO FARING AND SPORT FAIRINGS ON A DYNA so come one guys please don't beat the dead horse any further and if you think they are fugly at least respect the nature of a picture thread is supposed to be about pics not arguments and insults. But hey as a veteran Cavalry Sgt freedom of speech is one of the reasons I served so I can only politely request.

I will start with mine but my honest opinion is there are several members here which I got my inspiration from that their work outshines and outclasses mine (my paint skills on a 1-10 scale are about a 3) by a bunch so hopefully they will post up too. HYPR (Roadglide fairing), JRK5892 (QD touring full setup), Gringoloco13 (wicked paint job), and a long list of guys and gals and a couple of vendors who have pioneered the way for the rest of us that I am forgetting but will hopefully join in and give us some Dyna Fairing **** for our viewing please .

Mine is a Reckless audio fairing for a Road King I bought off another member for a good used price and the brackets setup is 4 regular HD quick detach clamps and two HD locking quick detach clamps so six clamps total. The headlight used to work with that style fairing is a Flamed Adjure bullet for 7" light with a Trucklite LED lamp. Turn Signals were relocated using chrome fork clamps. Audio was wired using a GM weatherproof quick disconnect located in front of the gas tank so the whole fairing can be relatively quickly detached. Apline Type R speakers and Pyle marine audio deck with a Rockford Fosgate 2 Channel amp (it gets LOUD).

Suggested rules of thread - Please, please, please post pics if you are mentioning your bike with a fairing and if you wish you can post specs or details on the brand or mods done to make it work. Feel free to include a link to your build thread too if you have a good write up or how to on yours. Please do not post any information that would be offensive or insulting to a vendor as that could get the thread moved or removed. Also if your bike came stock with a fairing and its not a Dyna or at least it did not start out as a Dyna it does not belong in this thread.

If you have questions please either post who the question is for if your looking at a specific bike (or just PM them) or be as specific as you can so others can either link to where the question was answered or offer a reply. And lastly again guys its a pic thread so please keep it polite so we can all enjoy the show and maybe help someone interested in taking on a project like these.

Just a Memphis Shades non-audio fairing. Traded my stock wide glide seat for it a few years ago.

JRK nice setup, I'm sure the new owner will love that cause you already did all the hard work for them. You going to do another one?

Memphis Shades "bagger" fairing adapted to FXDC using HD quick release clips, Clearview "recurved" windshield and 7" headlight.

VERY effective at speed while still allowing good airflow without turbulence.

I got a couple pics. Hope to see more fairings on the fatbob. Thinking about going back to the stock exhaust. Maybe add a sound system this winter.
