i bought some for my 06...i'm hoping they'll fit, according to hd website the dyna shocks are different for 05 earlier and 06 later...it's probably something minor that can be made to work, i'm hoping
lets us know how they fit or whatmods you had to do on the 06 dynas.iam very interested in this mod.please post some pics to. thanks
These are the low profile touring shocks on my 99FXD. Waiting on Harley to get the air lines in.
Nice job jBo. I really like your style.
You got a big bonus with this mod. Looks good AND the softer ride, a big plus.
I see some little improvements here and there over the last few months.
For example, I notice that you have improved the linkage on your clutch.
Got a closer shot of that linkage??
The little plate that holds the cable needs to be made better but works perfect so I haven't messed with it. The linkage is the stock shifter bar with the center shaft cut away except for the treads from one end. I screwed both end joints together. Found a shorter shifter for the fwd control at a consignment shop. Works perfect. Damn I need to wash my bike

Thanks Mud. My next mod is to bob the rear fender, make a side mount plate and tail light, and might wrap the pipes...If I can find some of that black heat wrap around here. Your pipes inspired me. If I get some time after worktomorrow I might start on it.
How did you get the front gators on? I love the look and I'm buying a set of air shock for mine now. They say they are chrome but from the look of the picture they do look black. Either way it is fine to me, I'm going for the black and chrome look so if they are chrome it well still match to the front forks when I put the gators on. Here is thelink for the shocks I'm getting let me know if these are the same ones you have or if they are different. Thanks in advance bro!
I put them on my 07sb over the winter cause I couldn't afford anything else lol. they bolted right on, they ride way better than the stock spring jobbies but I don't think theyre perfect, the rebound sucks! they'll definitely due til I get the coin for jri's or something
