You might be aware of this so dont take it wrong. Just trying to help. Be careful on how you jack that bike up. Cant see exactly how you did it or what type of jack used. Not sure about WG but my Bob has an aluminum pan and it extends below the frame rail on the left side. Dont want to screw that up. They make special blocks that go on the frame for jacking a Dyna.
thanks. i checked before jacking and the trans is about level with the frame rails and the part that hangs down seemed pretty stout. i used a transmission jack and removed all the attachments so i had just a flat surface. thanks for the advice though.
got my permanent plate in today. so here's how she looks....
yea i edited my license plate number....because i dont trust y'all....

Gratz on the new WG, I got mine last June and love it. I have extended the forward controls a few more inches, I'm 6'5" and put a mustang touring seat on so the wife would stop bitching, I mentioned a smaller woman could sit the pad ok, she mentioned the bike wouldn't fit in my hospital room lol, getting ready to change the exhaust then doing a backrest and some bags. Was just out today riding, 33 degrees but it was a good day.
Have fun post more picks
Dude what your wife just heard is "honey yes in fact that seat does actually make your *** look big". You are lucky she didn't tell you where you could park that bike! Can I recommend you come home tonight and explain you just escaped from an inter-terrestrial space ship where you had been abducted several weeks ago and they sent a clone down to replace you.
I also recommend you refrain from introducing her to friends as your current wife. I also recommend avoiding telling her that being married to her all these years feels like just five minutes...with your head under water. My experience has taught me neither will win you brownie points with the Mrs and most assurredly will condem you to sleeping in the garage. Amazing what a little brown nosing will get you in a marriage. My secret to being happly married for the past 29 years is my wife doesn't allow me to date.

I hear ya, been married 38 years myself. She loves me what can I say
The mustang is a great seat much better than the factory 7 mile seat it comes with. I thought the front seat was pretty good but I can go 100 miles now without a break. The forward controls I got the m dealer when I bought the bike they are Kuryakyn. I'm really glad I put them on.
nice. i may have to copy the idea on the seat. i think it's my new knee brace but ever since my surgery my right leg goes numb while riding. once i get a narrower brace i'll figure it out. but hey, even surgery can't keep my off it!!!
Noooooooooo!!!! No LED's!!! Carry a small flashlight if you can't find it in the dark, anything but LED's
My Wide Glide. Ain't but two lights. That's all u need, unless of course yer state requires turn signals.

by the way, it was the brace pushing my knee out at an odd angle causing my knee to go numb.
