This came from the Motor Problems thread / didn't want to hijack the thread so I started a new one

vheflin, what year bike did you see this on? I have an issue with my check engine light coming on sometimes and then when riding the bike sputters a little and check engine light comes on. Was thinking between coil and wires might be something. Changed wires and still the same thing. Looking at coils and not sure if I need to go with an OEM or an Accel 140409 for a few bucks more. What is everyone’s opinion on the Accel coil? For the engine temp sensor for $30 seems kind of cheap to change to help diagnosis the problem. Has anyone had this same issue and changed this sensor out to eliminate the sputter problem?
