Engine cleaning question?

Maybe someone could help. I'm trying to get my engine to look "show room new" by that I mean that after riding and washing the black on my engine has developed a sort of white haze inbetween the cooling fins. I've tried to get in there via toothbrush, and various homemade tools to no avail. Anyone know of any product to help clean and restore that black? Thanks and stay safe.

The dealers sell S100 engine brightner, works well, I've used it and it looks new when you're done.

And Stay Away from any Degreaser! That stuff will quickly ruin an engine finish.

Go to your dealer and ask for "Pig Spit" I know, a strange name but that stuff makes the black on your engine look brand new and lasts for many weeks. I use it about every other month and my bike has 50k+ and still looks new---jack

I haven't used the Pig spit, but the Engine Brightner from S100 (Like all of their products) works as good or better than advertised. I recenlty used it on my new 05 Ultra and it has made the black on the engine look better than brand new bikes that just rolled out of the show room floor. Really, I mean it, I was just at the dealer and couldn't believe my eyes!!!
