Howdy Guys,
As long as my orders through the military come through soon to come back to the states, I should be placing an order within the next few weeks. I found the V&H Competition Series 2/1 and from the videos on youtube, I REALLY love the sound. Does anybody here have that on their bike? What are your thoughts on those pipes? I was going to get the Big Radius 2/1, but once I heard the comp series I quickly changed my mind. One other member here showed me how when you scrape the Big Radius that the mounts can crack, so I was becoming a bit scared of those. BTW, I'm getting the powervision with it so the bike will be tuned.
Talk to fuelmoto.com that is were i bought my V&H big radius 2-2, Power Vision, they have the best prices around, if you have any questions they can answer them
When you get back welcome back bro, i have been in the Army for the past 16 yr... I'm currently stationed here at Fort Lewis, WA
That is exactly where I am getting my parts. Best prices by far. I'd just like some opinions on people who already own those pipes such as performance, noise, or whatever else they can tell me.
I have a 2012 Fat Bob also, they look and sound kick ***, my guys at work can hear me a block away coming, i have sound clips on my Facebook and will try and put them on here... I went with the black powder coated ones, since i don't like too much chrome

They are the definition of "Motorcycle" in my opinion. So being that you have had yours for a while, have you had any problems out of the MP's when coming on base? I just got this beast and I've been overseas almost the entire time.
Also, does anybody have a link to a good header wrap? I've read these pipes have no heat shield and discolor fast. I'm thinking I will NEED the wrap then. What do I look for when buying the best wrap?
I have read that those pipes are really loud, they do look great. If you want something not so loud that look somewhat simular, I like my Bassani Road Rage 1D5250. I use the quiet baffle which is still loud, but if you want louder then opt for the performance baffle.
Alan, I actually just saw yours on some searches I was doing. Looks good man. I haven't heard any good sound bites yet, but I did get some bad news from V&H just now. My research said that the comp series pipes get really hot, discolor, and one guy had his pant leg catch fire. V&H emailed me and said there is a small heat shield on the rear header. I do not want to wrap my pipes at all because it can reduce the life (and looks) of the bike. So now I may go back to the big radius 2/1 that I originally wanted. That is, of course someone can vouch that the new comp series don't get too hot, discolored, or need the wrap.
