Id call or email works. You can get them made for your weight, etc. http://www.worksperformance.com/html/street.html

Just remember though 11.6 shocks are pretty low. If I were you and you do a little bit of 2 up riding Id go with the 12.6 inch works http://www.southeastcustomcycles.com...52&category=13

They might not be as low (slammed look) as you'd like but It'll be a better ride.
Im pretty sure these are the 12.6 inch works on this bike...

I have 13" JRI's on order. Pulled off progressive 412's that sucked monkey butt.
When installing the cheapest shocks (412) that progressive makes I wouldn't have expected any improvements over stock.

OP,
even at 240 lbs you might want to do some research before ordering the HD shocks

My next piece of advice is to buy your shocks from a shop that will set them up for you, not just a discount warehouse. A suspension shop will actually put the right springs on there for your weight and get the preload about in the right spot. Also anything under 12" will not really give you much room for improvement. Like others here said, 12.6-13" are the hot ticket for max suspension movement. When you're on the bike, the stance will be same as the "slammed" shocks, but they will have much more "up" travel to soak up bumps- the only down side is the bike looks like a jacked up 4x4 when sitting on the kickstand.

Give Howard over at http://www.motorcyclemetal.com/index.html a call. His advice is free, and he's on the forums here too. He can be a little gruff in his typing, but he knows his stuff.

You can also give traxxion call. I used their Penske shock on my old FZ1 and it was awesome. Although I have no experience with the bitubo shocks they have for HD. Just another info source.... http://www.traxxion.com/bituboshocks...torcycles.aspx

Default Progressive 440 or 444

I had 11 inch 412's and went to 12 inch 440's and realized a good improvement. I think the best improvement was due to the 1 inch more travel. If I were you I'd give serious thought to going with 12 inch or greater. Ride two up here most of the time with a combined weight of 280. Progressive Tech suggested I stay away from the Heavy Duty Version. The 440's have worked fine for me.

Awesome thanks for the input guys. I know it will handle better when I lift it, but I just can't see myself doing that.

Going to take a closer look at the higher end shocks.

Thanks Again

I have to agree that a more expensive shock will make a huge difference. I avhe run Progressive's on several bikes and always been disappointed with them. I got a set of JRI's for my Dyna and they kick serious butt on the Progressive's.

I prefer a taller shock as well as I like more travel and ground clearance on a Dyna. I already have a lowrider bike.
