If you need a battery and have an Advance Auto nearby you can get an ETX20L battery from them for $69.99 using code TRT41.
It has 310CCA (stock is 270), 17.5 amp hours (I believe stock is 19 but I could be wrong) and 1 year warranty.
It is also made by East Penn.

I don't know what HD dealers use for a battery tester, but I do know it ain't reliable. I took my one year old battery form my Ultra in to be tested. They gave me a real little print out that says "Bad Cell - Replace,Voltage 10.84, zero cca, amp hours 00.00". I bought a and installed a new battery. For fun, I stuck the old one on a tender for three days, and the battery is working just fine in my lawn tractor now.

A battery tester in the wrong hands is useless, and testing a partially charged battery will give the exact results they gave you.
A real tester will charge the battery full, then partially discharge it, and repeat several times. Batteries plus used to have computerized testers that you would leave the battery overnight and it would do exactly that, not sure if they still do.

That's exactly my point. Do not trust the dude at the dealership to give you any accurate indication if the battery is good or bad. They can test a battery that is perfectly good and determine that it is hopelessly worn out. I suspect they could also tell you your battery is fine when it is marginal.

What pisses me off about that is ... I was at Harley 2 months ago ..I said hey the bike is an 07 lets change the bat while you have it . They said they put the tester on it and it was FINE no need to spend the $$ on a new one yet
That's the bad thing about only having electric start on our bikes. Batteries will do that though, they may read strong one day and the next dead. It happened on my wifes car.
