Default Electrical Problems 06 FXDLI after Bar swap
hey guys I just finished changing my original bars for 12'' T-bars I unplugged and replugged My turn signals and my wires but now when I turn my key into the switch only thing who is working is the horn and the dash speedo and rpm. what doesn't work is the turn signals. my front headlight is completly turned off and my tail light stays on. Can you guys please enlight me in the right direction. Fuses are ok by the way

made some test with the VOM and it seems that the electricity stops somewhere but don`t know where any suggestion

Did you disconnect the pins from the connectors? If so did you double check the wiring diagram. Also make sure the pins are clicked all the way into the molex connector.

I had an issue with this before. I put all the pins back in the connectors with the diagram upside down. I recommend rechecking where your wires are.

Taillight stays on? Do you mean brake light? If so, you're probably not contacting the brake switch with the brake lever on the right hand grip. Hopefully that is all it is and you haven't broken the switch in the housing.

Yeah Brake light stays on it's the only light that function except for the dash console light. Turn signals doesnt work headlight doesnt work. Yeah I checked four times my connectors and my pins any ideas what else could it be ?

I'm kind of stress by all that I run a tight budget and would'nt afford having to replace a lot of thing so feel free to tell me what you think my problem is and how to solve it )thanks a lot to everyone who responded I can't wait to get that fixed

i would check your fuses in the panel under the seat. when i popped mine the headlight didnt work and some other things.
