I just put 4" pullback risers on my new 2013 Superglide. I did not need new cables. It feels very similiar to my Sportster with miniapes. It took 15 minutes to do it myself and the cost was $125 bucks.

The dealer changed mine before I picked up the bike. It was part of our deal. I hated the stock bars, they were so uncomfortable. They showed it done on my sales agreement along with what was changed and the price I would of paid even though I didn't pay to have it done. Mini-apes along with all the cables changed to the Dyna Bob stock stuff.

I really like it but I'm thinking of also adding a 3 1/2" riser. The stock 1.8 riser is still there, so I'd only be adding a 1 1/2 rise. Not to jack your thread but does anyone know if I would have to change anything? It looks like there is plenty of slack in everything.

Remember.. stock bars have more pull back than most apes, so you pick up a little room there.
Like Kenny, I have a 4 1/2 curved riser with 1" pullback and I agree that there is enough slack for another
inch or so.

I put mini-apes on my '01 and had to change the clutch cable and brake line. The throttle controls will work if you change the routing from between the struts to just go under the tank. I bought new throttle cables because I was also told that the originals would not work only to find out that the original cables would work just fine...but I figured that with all the work with changing everything out, I might as well put new cables on...not that expensive for peace of mind.
