ok, im rebuilding my 88 fxr.and i bought the case bolts from colony, and installed them. but 3 of the studs are sized special to align the case, the new kit isnt. anyone see a problem with this? im not assembling the cases, rather swapping the rusty hardware out, and harley made 4 of the case bolts and studs obsolete. but i dont want to have a problem if i do have to split the cases down the road.

Can you re-use the old bolts? That would be preferred.
