Default new seat

Bought a Corbin Dual Tour seat for my Dyna off of a fellow forum member last week. Seat showed up yesterday & I got it put on the bike.

Can't believe how much better the seat is than the stock one. It weighs probably 3 times what the stocker does, and it fits like a glove on the bike. Actual leather is also nice & the flame stitching is top notch.

Love the seat and can't wait to take it out for a test ride, but it was in the mid-teens here yesterday, 20s today & snow tomorrow, so it's gonna have to wait until the weather improves.

Here are some pics....I think it looks awesome & goes well with my bike. Only problem I see is that my back rest pad will not fit on my sissy bar with the seat due to room between the sissy bar & seat.
Sorry for the poor picture quality...taken with iphone last night.

What do ya think?

Looks good on your bike. I have had good luck with Corbin seats, they just seem to fit me well.

Looks good. Will be looking forward to your feedback. Wife and I are going to be putting new seats on our bikes this spring when MN decides to thaw out.

I'll post some updates on this forum when I'm able to get out and ride & put a few miles on and get an initial impression. Main reason I bough the seat was for passenger comfort...wife hated the stock seat.

We just sat on it last night, but the wife was impressed with how it fits her. My initial impression is that is sits slightly lower and farther back, but not much. The seat supports my back much better and seems that it is going to be a huge improvement over the stock seat for both rider and passenger comfort.

I know this seat is likely not going to be as comfortable as say a Sundowner, but it also looks good at the same time whereas the Sundowner is too big and looks out of place IMO. I didn't want a huge seat that didn't look good on the bike, but wanted a drastic improvement in comfort.

My choices were either this seat or a mustang, and I was just waiting for the right deal. This seat is $600 new, but I bought it for $250 and he had only put 300 miles on it and sold his bike. The seat is same as brand new & I got a great deal.
