Default paint or powdercoat?

I am gonna take my wheels off today and either paint them myself or get them powdercoated gloss or semi gloss black. what do u think? is worth the effort to save some money and paint them myself or am i better off powder coating them? they r cast wheels off a 96 superglide

Fold back the part that holds the wire to the plug, and with a safety pin release the tabs that hold in the pins.

If you want a cheap option to see if you like the color, try plasti dip, about $7 a can. Its matte black. It may not last too long, but its easy on and easy off so you can check if you like the look before investing in PC.

For ***** and giggles, I did my whole bike until I get my mind set on what color to go with.

Hey Joe,
I really need to get my 2010 StreetBob's front end black (satin) powder coated (The bike is Denim Black) but I have no idea how to get them apart and send them your way. Do you have any links to any info?

Thanks
