Here is a link to the installation of the kits rs87277 is running. I believe you can get by with just removing on pin on each set of sigs. You should be able to get your first two pins through the stalk with the pins, but trying to get that third pin through is impossible, so you need to remove the pin and install a new pin once you have the wire through the stalk. You can get pins for like $.10 at the dealer. This is a really easy job to do. Hardest part is after you run that first wire though the stalk, is verifing that you have all the hardware between the stalk and the lamp, don't wait until you have all the wires through and the connected crimped back on.
Give it a try, best way to learn!

I have the setup on my FXD. I removed the the pins from the amp connector in the taillight to avoid cutting any wires. I did have to remove the one pin connector before passing the wire thru the stem on the tail light because of clearance issues with the diameter of the hole. I use the medium low sissy bar and it works great for my tail bags
Ynot how did you get the pins out of the amp connector? From the front or the wire end? I don't want to cut the wires either.
Thanks
If you look on ebay, I've seen a seller who makes sissy bars similar to the 'HD one-piece detachable' but it's not a quick detach, and you don't have to relocate turn signals.
I did the relocation kit a while back. It really is not that challenging to cut & splice wires. You'll also be surprised how handy a soldering iron is to have around if you've never had one before.
I took a signal bar off an 08 Road Glide and modified it with a bench grinder, drilled 2 holes in the fender and a few grommets and it gave it a nice stock appearance.
OKAY... so i FINALLY got all of the parts for the relocation and installed everything tonight. it was all pretty simple but took me ALOT longer then i thought it would about 4 hours on the short side. i did run into a couple of problems however that i need to resolve before riding again.
#1. my first splice i did, i crimped the wire into the little pink piece and then it fell out so now i need to get a new pink piece and re crimp the wire into it. it is the purple wire.
#2 This is what i dont understand at all. i had to take the black casing off the 3 wires to get it through the hollow bolt, but harley doesn't include another piece of plastic that you can heat shrink to hold the wires togeather under the fender and hook onto the clips on the fender. i cant even get plastic clip back on that attached to the under side of the DD tail light.
i dont know if i did something wrong or if this kit just sucks!
