Don't know if anyone watched the J&S video, but, the kickstand is DOWN in it as well. By the way, what makes the J&S so sturdy that a guy can climb on the bike while it's in the air on the stand, and then, go on the back of the bike like he does??? Inquiring minds want to know
I have the red Craftsman Jack and have no problems other than clearance. I did cut out the cross piece on the jack so it clears the kickstand. I use1/2" square blocksof wood for spacers, one one each side of the front to level it and 2 stacked on the left rear to compensate for the brace on the right. I just fired the bike up while it was on the jack, climbed on the bike, and put it in first to check the rear brake, no problem. NOW, since I have installed the new rear shorter shocks, I might have fun getting it off but I will just put boards under the wheels and one under the kickstand. I tend to be able to work with what I got....
Oh, don't mind the dust on the floor, my maid has not come back since I brought the bike inside a couple months ago!!!!
