So as the title says I just placed the order for a Rifle Roadster fairing for my Fat Bob. To those of you who have one could you post pictures and tell me your experiences with using it and wind/buffeting?
I ordered with the bubble windshield as I dislike windshields in general because they always cause a ton of buffeting at my head. I'm hoping it will block the majority of wind off my chest but not cause buffeting. I'm 5' 11" if that helps...

Ha...I ordered one today too...Guess we'll see shortly...
i have one, and have tried the 14" and 18" shield. both do nothing to help with buffeting, however it did get the wind off my chest but now i just get the airflow coming from underneith blowing up my face into my helmet. not a big deal but after all day of riding my neck is sore from all the buffeting. thought this fairing would cure the buffeting but it doesnt. should have spent my money getting parts for my road glide fairing conversion im working on now
guys look at the thread a few below this one titled " To the Rifle Fairing Guys". there are a few pic's and a lot of helpful stuff on the buffeting. there are also a few other threads been posted here before.
Whenever I think or hear of buffeting I remind my self that I'm on a bike and not in a car, your going to catch some wind to the face.
Buffeting is NOT the same as wind to the face. Buffeting is caused by the pressure difference behind the shield. When it is bad, it is WAY worse than riding without any wind protection at all...
