just checked on the fulpakfi site step #7 as for "ECM Calibration". You have 3 choices "stock, Stage1 1584 legal & other". The values are indeed different if you have a stock or Stage1 ECM calibration. So knowing if it has a stage 1 is needed. From what I can tell.
Cheers

Reason: new info
have your local dealer run the vin and see what comes up. You can always try different maps and see what works best but are very limited with the "tuner" you have
thanks rooti, that was what I was wondering if the dealer could look that info up with the VIN being as it was originally from the states. Not sure if the bike has a tuner. I have to check that out. When I bought the bike from the second owner he never said anyting about a tuner. I was using fuelpak as an example with my original question.
I only did a short test ride before I purchased it in the fall. Then had shoulder surgery and its been sitting in the garage since... it seems to idle great. this is my first Harley so I have nothing to compare it too...just did a quick check and doesn;t seem to have a fuelpak installed...under the seat there really isn't any room for anything else to be put there...it does have the factory alarm so I think it the modules for that and the wiring for the battery tender...
I would just ride it for awhile and see how it runs...Meanwhile you can search what tuner you want to get down the road. I would suggest a full tuner that reflashes the ECM...that way there is nothing attached to your bike...Do you have any dyno tuners by you?
hey, no I didn't buy it from there but the guy I bought it from did... I actually found the ad for the bike on I think its called cyclecrunch? there are some great deals down there though but make sure you have all the paperwork done in advance to get it across the border. look up RIV on google.
