If you are going to use a wire extension kit, I would cut the connectors and soldier the wires in the middle. Those pins have a way of breaking inside the connector when you pull the wires. I've done several sets of bars. I won't use the kits anymore...

That's what I planned on doing, thanks for the validation. Going to cut and re-solder the wires in a staggered formation to avoid a bunch of joints inside the bars.

Got my brake line! Dealer rang around other dealers to see if they could dig one up and i got lucky
