Does anyone else hate having to look down at the speedo on your Wide Glide?
Is there any thing on the market to angle the gauge toward the rider?Has anyone done a home shim mode to their gauge?
A 2" or 2.5" tank lift will make a big difference...more than most would think.
To see real quick, loosen your rear tank bolts, remove the front tank bolt, lift the front of the tank up 2-3", use a towel to hold it there. Then sit on the bike and see if the speedo is not angled good enough to see it without looking down.
i think im gonna do the gps thing too. i dont wanna mess around with relocating. U can grab a cheap gps for 80 bucks now and the gps is super accurate which means u can see if your stock speedo is actually on target. Ive got a fat bob and i thought i was the only one complaining about havin to look down to glance at the speedo. a gps on the bars would be ideal.
