Help with new front fork springs

Thanks Mud, i do have the manual, but it really only shows how to tear it all apart and not to do a specific job like lowering.
So once i loosen the pipe screw then take off the cap and drop the spring and oil, now take the pipe screw out and the damper tube will come out as well ? at this point is that where i stop and install the progressive parts and put it back together. Are ther parts or seals that will be damaged by this.

Again, I haven't done the lowering kit, so I don't know what parts come along.

Yeah, the 12mm screw releases # 23.

Pic below, I would replace # 13, 16, 18, and inspect # 20 (replace, if ugly).

(All may not need replacing, I would anyway, cheap enough.)
