I painted my heat shields with hi-temp paint. There's two kinds, flat and satin. The flat one looks pretty pale (fine for my BBQ), but the shinier one looks decent. I don't know if it can handle the heat of the headers themselves, but it's holding up great on the heat shields.
i used VHT header paint, it worked great. very easy and has held up for a few years
Ive used this. Works well. Might want to keep a can around for touch up tho. Like $8-9 a can. No more than 2 cans. Id defiantly let joe lay some powder once funds got up tho

well looks like im gonna leave it for now....maybe next year....im already in the middle of doing a bunch of stuff (paint, gonna powder stuff and a few other mods) so it may have to wait. like i said earlier, they really are not bad im just picturing all the changes and want them now.... im just thinking the black would be nice with the other stuff im blacking out
You can have your pipes looking pretty decent with <$50 and some of your own labor. I sprayed my rear pipe last night with clear and will take pics tonight, the front pipe was in really bad shape and is going to need another night of sanding and prep work before I spray it.
