If you're not confident about doing the install yourself check an INDY. I spent half that getting mine installed and I also bought all new clutch and brake lines plus had them run wires internally and relocate my front turn signals.
Looks right for a dealer install...They are adding in an extra quart of Primary + and I am not sure why you need a brake line kit for 69 bucks and a line for 64. Aren't Superglides single caliper bikes?? That labor is CRAZY. 110.00 an hour. No way in hell I'd pay that...No way...The install is pretty easy to do yourself and you can get all the parts you need for around 550.00 dollars...
You asked if the Superglides are a single caliper bike? I am totally new to bikes, so I don't know. I have the 2012 Super Glide Custom if you find out.
Thank you for posting this.
I am thinking of a bar change and wanted chrome hand controls, yes brake reservoir included, and chrome levers . You just made my life a little easier.
On sale, complete bar set up $599, 14 inch bars prewired with chrome controls pre connected. Brake line , clutch cable, and throttle cables.
I bought the same kit except I got 12" bars, and paid the extra $90 for them to put the HD factory wire plugs on. No splicing wires at all...plug and play.
For $1,650 they should add an entire new front end.
I'd look around for an indy shop. I thought about having mine put on and called a local shop and they quoted me a price of no less than $150 and no more than $300 as long as I supplied the parts. Their mechanic is HD certified if that means anything.
I am in the process of putting a set of 12" minis on an 03 Night Train. So far having only a couple of hours in the morning before work, Im about 3 hours or so in and I should finish the soldering and mount the bars tomorrow morning. Given the amount of time I have had to work on them I figure I should have everything back together and finished on Thursday morning with a total of about 5 hours into the job. Internal wiring is a bit og a pain, but definitely worth the effort. Wild Card is right and you will thank yourself for it later. Once I am finished with this Night Train, I will be putting a set of 14's on my FXST...
