First off thanks to those who helped me with my engine cleaning question. The S100 really does work. Looks better than the "06 in the showroom. LOL. Any how being that I'm somewhat technically challenged, I wanted to post some pics of my scoot on this site. I figured out the digital camera thing and when I went to upload my pics on this site I got the " file is to large" When I checked the file size that I was trying to upload it was alittle over 800kb I guess the maximum allowed is 500kb. So how do I "shrink" that pic or file to 500kb inorder to successfully upload my pics? I know it's not a HD question but thanks for any help. Stay Safe.
Depending on the camera you have, there should be a menu to choose the quality of the photos that you take. The higher the quality, the higher the resulution will be and the larger the corresponding size will be also. You could try to go to a lower resulution, possibly reducing the quality from best or better to good or however your camera describes the quality modes.
Otherwise, there are many free software programs that can manipulate the size and quality of digital photos, allowing them to be saved in a smaller format. Make sure that they are saved in a .jpg format which compresses the image to a smaller size.
I found that out as well with saving pictures.
I think as your status increases (your rank on the site from use), you get a little more privilege with stuff like that. I dunno?
Resave the pictures with "small" on the end of the title and with decreased pic quality.. That should shrink the file size.
I use a freeware program called IrfanView to view and resave.. Works nice.
I always use Microsoft Office Picture Manager.
You can compress the file size and shrink pic down to correct dimensions.
Your computer probably has this program or one similar to it already installed.
Something like this generally comes with the operating system.
Good luck!!!

Ooooo.. That's nice. I'm on Office Pro 2000 for Win 2000 and don't see it.. Maybe it's on one of the different MS Office packages.

In WIN2K it is under Kodak Imaging, it'll do most things that Picture manager will do.
