Well if that is the case, I might just get B heads from FM with compression release installed. The jig thing isn't easy, have seen it on youtube, you need a powerful drill to do that, beyond my skill lol.
How do you wire them? I thought the wiring harness came with the bike, can I program it with my PV?

Your bike is capable but you need to buy the harness and install the pins into the ECU connector then turn it on with your tuner. Isnt cut and dry and if it ever fails the valve covers have to come off as they are in the middle of the head. MCR's are the wat to go IMHO.

this is 100% the spot on answer... i did manual in mine, and well worth it... i also like JP cycles high crank battery or braille battery... but to be honest if you run compression releases the stock HD battery will be just fine

I don't have a hot build, just a 103 with 255 cams. Bike starts easy when cold, but when it's hot out it can be problem without the CRs. I'm glad I had them installed.

Question, when you install a compression release, I assume you have to shut off the valves manually after the motor runs, correct?

No. Manual one's you push the button tops befor you start it. The engine's compression closes them.

Hey, that may not be a bad idea! I just worry about sometimes I forget to shut it off. Do all compression release valves work the same way? Thanks!

highly recommend manual releases, after riding when stopping for fuel a few minutes of heat soak and my 107 cranks pretty hard with out hitting the releases. you will be replacing the starter sooner then u want to.

pretty much. you have to push them to open them before you start your bike. when the bike fires, the valves slam shut and stay that way until you shut it off. then you press them down before starting again.

After all, I might get the Jims tool to make my own. Now my question is, how big a drill do I need? The drill bit is quite big but drilling aluminum shouldn't be that bad I guess.
