Default Installed Supertrapp

I just installed a new exhaust. Went with the Supertrapp 2-1. Wrapped half of it with black exhaust wrap. Crazy that an $8 job turned into a new exhaust system. I had a leak on my V&H long shots so I took them off to replace the gaskets. That's when I noticed the rolled lip that the flange seats against had broken off. Could of had it welded up I guess but why pass up the chance for a new exhaust? Anyways here pics.

How do those Supertrapps sound? I'm guessing kind of a mellow throaty sound. They make great 2-1 pipes.

Well I didn't have any baffles in the long shots so these sound way quieter for sure. I have all the disks in right now. I will try different configurations to see where it's best. It still has a nice tone.

You will like the Supertrapp. I added one of their billet open end caps and the sound is so good. Very deep sound. Even had a few cops tell me how good it sounds.

I was told to start with 18. Then try 2 less and if it ran better take 2 more out. If it ran worst add 2. Add the open end cap and you want have to mess with the disk. It will sound better with the open cap.

Just install the open end cap with 10-12 disks and she will go like the clappers and sound awesome in the process.

I agree I have 10 disks plus open end cap. Bike runs great and the sound is awesome! At least to my ears. Quite while cruising but nice and throaty at wot.
