Those pro-taper set-ups ROCK!
Gonna get a set for my next build.

Hey Brandon I'm done in Turlock, yeah small world for sure. Damn, Jim's doing a 107 for you. That's in my future too. May need to check it out once yours is done. He does so great work.
Love my pro tapers, second best mod next to the JRI piggy backs I just put on.
Ohh and Tom sorry to jack your thread. Your bike is pretty sick and mine is going in the same direction except I'm calling it a sport tour rather that FXDXT

Hey tomsprops I am astounded by the 14 inch disc, would love to hear more about how it performs compared to standard.

What's it like after a lot of hard braking coming down a fast mountain region, any fade?

I have a 2010 FXD and the brakes are craaaap. Been thinking about dual disc. What do you reckon, is it nearly as good as a twin disc setup?

Is the disc robust, it looks flimsy in the photo.

I have sent an email to forbidden cycles, no response yet, but always good to hear from an actual user.

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers

I like the shorter styling vs. the typical T-header... Sound clips don't sound too bad either.

How's the ground clearance? I've seen models that kind of dip under the foot-peg and it was prone to scraping. Yours looks more flat in that section, I wonder if they updated the design.

Will the pipe or your foot peg touchdown first in a turn?
