Below was what was typical of almost every dealer in Southern California when I was lookingin March of 2006, 2007's should not be much different. Most of the dealers were unwilling to deal below MSRP. I found one that would, but nothing like the dealsI got buying a new car. The link, post #7 is what I was expecting, but unfortunately that would never happen in Southern California.

I also live in Central Ohio and am looking for a used (or new) dyna. Friends say go to Hales in Mansfield for best deal. My insurance agents brother works at Farrows, so I may check there. I have been to Centennial and they weren't very friendly and to Joe Carson, but they weren't ready to talk prices unless I was ready to buy. The mechanic at Carson's is very good. I too like the looks of the low rider best. I am currently looking on ebay, but you don't know who to trust there. There is Integrity Cycles, but they are a little high. If you can, let me know what you find and I will do the same.
Hopefully I gave you a little info on what I have found.
Larry
I'll be heading back soon and will let you know how it goes...Farrows isopening a 2nd huge new place very soon in Delaware right off 71 and 36...don't know if that will be good or bad....much more space for them but they gotta pay for all that space and glitter now. Nice business to be in...selling most every bike you can at msrp, not to mention the markup on everything else.....

Most dealers are MSRP with a few going as low as $1000 off of MSRP for big V-twins and touring models. My Dyna was purchased from a delaer that gave me $1500 off of MSRP but required me (and every other buyer) to purchase an additional 2 year warranty at a cost of $815!!! This dealer also gives poor service.
So you tell me, what's a better deal, MSRP with good service, $1000 off MSRP or MRSP minus $1500 with an $815 extra required for two years of extended warranty and crappy service??
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Never pay MSRP.
