I have a set of chrome 4.5" straight that will work on the stock cap. There cables were plenty long when I had them installed. PM if interested.

Default Riser installation?

Question for someone who has installed 4.5 inch risers? Please, could you tell me what is required in the installation of 4.5 inch risers?

I have a 2013 Super Glide.

Will I need to buy new bushings, bolts or anything other than the risers?

Is the oem top bracket more stable than heavy duty individual risers?

Does the headlight need to be taken off?

Is it necessary to lift the tank to extend wires?

How hard is this, on a scale of 1 (infant) to 10 H-D (master mechanic?)

Thank you, I appreciate your kind assistance.

I was able to install my 4.5" pull back risers with what my bike came with. Only bought risers and locktight.
I used stock top plate and didn't need to extend any wires.
Make sure you torq to right amount and get a friend to hold the handle bar so no break fluid leaks out.
I had a 7" headlight so I did have to remove it to change risers, don't know with stock headlight

Thanks for the reply. So, the tank didn't have to be lifted or loosened?

Default Risers

Also, I'm considering Wild 1 straight risers wo526. The picture doesn't show any scoring on the inside. Would they hold better if scored? Thanks, again.

No messing with tank.

Don't know those risers you mention. I used 4.5" from custom chrome
