Just wondering if anyone is running a set of apehangers with pullback risers. I am going to change to some wild one apes this winter either 14 or 16 depending on the riser. got a buddy that put some pullbacks his WGwith the stock mini's looked good. So now I am debating 16's with the stock risers or 14's with a pullback riser. I need your opinions.Thanks. BTW these are going on a 07 WG
Personally, if I were gonna install risers, I would go with straight risers. I think PB risers would look odd and out of line with the forks. JMHO.
I agree - pull back risers unless very minimal height/pullback does tend to look a bit odd with apes - best to look around at other's bikes (in the dyna pic section) and see what you like. Pullbacks tend to look best with drag bars, etc. Just my opinion, and what do I know??
I agree with Jackyl. No pullbacks for apes. You will find that with a good set of apes (like the Wildones) there will be enough pullback built in. You can also adjust the angle to your preference.
[sm=lol.gif] It's called the mid-seasonal transition period. Changing lawn care to snow removal, not too mention the Christmas decorations. However there is a garage sale in our future, believe me...
Thanks for the reply on the risers. But I still can't get the scene in"Caddyshack" out of my mind, where Rodney says to the guy trying on the plaid hats, "...hey, but it looks good one you." So I guess I can't park in the handicapped places any more
