Check the dyna classifieds, I think there is an HD quick detach one on there. I got mine used for an awesome price from a really good dude. I wasn't a big fan of them either, but I definitely see the practicality of them now! Not saying I am gonna run it all the time, but the cooler months and long trips will likely see my windshield on.

I get a huge amount of buffeting off my HD quick release shield (pretty sure its the touring model) so I never use it. I'm thinking of trying the Klock Werks replacement shield, and I'm also considering the Windvest.

Edit: Nevermind, it doesn't look like Klock Werks makes a replacement shield for the '06-up Dyna.

I'm running the H-D windsheild as well, came with the bike,it comes on and off quick and works great for long hauls. I don't like the looks either but it's great for blocking wind.

Anybody have thoughts on Memphis shades ...the del ray? It looks smaller and has the quick detach feature. Thoughts/reviews?

I always try to resist riding with a windshield. I almost never put em on anything but a touring bike. There are a couple of things to consider. I have some bikes with a shield and notice all of the stuff that sticks to em. Guess that is my face and body when I am the first point of contact. Also, cutting out some wind resistance can be comfortable but not necessary. Good luck finding your option.
