motor swap
does anyone know if you can take a 2012 103, 6 speed tranny. and drop it into a 2001-2003 fxdxt which has a 88ci and 5 speed tranny.
is this a direct swap for the motor, tranny, and fuel injectio

The motor will fit but I think you'll find the 01-03 has MM EFI and not Delphi, which will cause you problems but you can use the 01-03 injection on the later motor.....have fun tuning it though....that could be your biggest issue.....you'll need to swap throttle bodies and maybe a couple other tweaks but its doable.
