I went with the new Harley style clear lens reflective type bulbs 06 and up, then installed one of those Sylvania high intensity bulbs, made a huge difference

I have that now. I am light hog, especially when riding at night which I do almost daily. i am willing to try the day maker set up as soon as I can save the cash. I forget HD stands for hundred dollars. LOL

HID hands down... have installed them in a ton of bikes now... the light output is next to nothing if you ask me... and it is a cheap mod, tons of threads on here about it... here are a few pics of mine... as you can see i put HID in everything i own

in the past i drilled an tapped the lower trees and addes spots under ther... but after i went HID I removed them... here are pics of those if you want to go that route
