Adjustable pushrods are a contentious issue. I don't recommend them because I have seen too many come loose while the motor is running.
Taking the tank off is no biggie and I like the peace of mind that comes with the stock pushrods. There is a way of making the job quicker by only removing the two right hand rocker gear bolts, slipping the rocker shafts out and then emptying the lifters before reassembly. I use it everytime.
Have you ever thought about some Youtube videos? You would be a Harley rock star!

I'm not quite sure what you mean by removing the right hand rocker gear bolts. Sounds interesting tho. BTW how do you like the TW26's?
There are 4 big bolts holding the rocker down once you have to top rocker cover off. Take out the two on the right (side of the bike) for each set and slide the shaft out (with jug at TDC compression)....lift out the rockers.
On reassembly you simply flick the clips out of the lifters (if they are new and unsed you skip this step), take out the baffles (note which way up and in what order they come out), tip out all the oil, reassemble and fit into bike, then reassemble the rocker gear (again at TDC compression for each jug) and its done, will rattle on start up as if it had new lifters but this goes away in a few minutes.
Oh yeah....love the 26's but if I had the money I would go for 203's.
