tin like noise when shift into 1st
When sitting at a light in neutral then shift into 1st to take off, i hear this tin like rattling noise for a second then as i accelerate and just before i shift at a higher rpm i hear the rattling noise again. i cant tell if its coming from the heat shields or the shift linkage area. i do have one striped hose clamp that holds on the front cylinder exhaust heat shield. it tightens up but not super tight before screw starts spinning. i have a 2008 fat bob with 16k on its stock engine. anybody ever hear this. bike seems to run great.

that makes feel a little better.. Yeah. bikes runs great but that noise drives me nuts sometimes. Only does it when sitting in neutral then shifting into first and then shifting into 2nd and 3rd. then if i lay on the gas real good i dont hear it anymore. go figure. Just started this year. never heard it before
