my friend has a 2006 streetbob so we traded, im taking it to painter tomorrow and should be done sometime next week
How was it putting the 13 fender on the 06? Im looking to do this as soon as i find a 13 fender. What did u do for wiring the turn signals as brake light?

we unplugged the light harness from my 13 and transffered everything over to the 2006 everything works (turn signals, blinkers, licnese plate lights) but the brake lights...we are thinking it needs the HD run/turn/brake module that they sell at harley (which is also plug and play)
the problem with putting on a 2013 fender on a 2006 is that when you feed the wires thru the fender sub frame rails the hole on the 2006 is to small to feed the connector, so we had to de-pin it then we could fit the wires thru the hole and bolt up the fender
Excellent man! I'm doing the same thing on my 2010 Dwg. I wish I would have found someone to swap me straight across like that. I rattle canned my fender and I'm waiting for the wiring harness to show up. I agree that the chopped rear fender and side plate doesn't look as good on our bikes.
