Default Fi2000 POWRPRO

Anyone familiar with these? Or have one?

"This is my favorite tuner, just plug it in and your done! No Dyno, no Computers!"

Fi2000 POWRPRO WITH CVT TECHNOLOGY.....POPS PICK

This is my favorite tuner, just plug it in and your done! No Dyno, no Computers!

•Continuously Variable Tuning (CVT) is the key to the remarkable performance the Fi2000 PowrPro delivers
•PowrPro uses electronic control technology that calculates the bike’s rate of acceleration by reading crankshaft rotation at the flywheel and
changes in load just as a dynamometer measures acceleration at the rear wheel
•PowrPro measures and adjusts fuel flow during acceleration to the injectors in microseconds for super-fast fuel tuning – continuously and
automatically; net result: precise EFI tuning now happens in the real world in real time, nonstop, up to 80 times per second
•New patented technology unlike any other system on the market
•PowrPro tunes to precise air-fuel mixture to create maximum power 80 times per second (does not tune to a predetermined arbitrary AFR)
•Creates that adjustment to maximum power on every squirt of the injector
•It’s like having the best custom map writing, dyno operator tuning your fuel every time you crank the throttle
•Tunes every gear, every roll on, every environmental change, every engine mod, lugging the engine, winding it out to redline: it reacts, verifies
and adjusts when the bike is accelerating
•Provides perfect acceleration fuel settings in any condition, with any exhaust system with any engine modifications
•No matter what kind of new hardware you install on your bike – a new exhaust system, a freer-flowing air filter setup or even a big-bore hop-up
kit with high-performance cams – PowrPro continues to analyze and tune your engine for peak performance
•No external adjustments needed
•No dyno needed
•No additional components needed

I just looked at the ratings on Amazon and they are very good. One person rating said it took about 1/2 hour to install but no further info on the install. Sounds like a good product.

Here is a you tube video from JCMotors

I came very close to ordering this tuner - did a ton of thread reading about 6-7 months ago and finally opted for the Powervision. There just seemed to be a few too many people having difficulting getting it to work right and the customer support seemed a little weak. Most of the users however seemed to love it, the install and ease of use is extremely attractive. Like I said, I came real close to buying so I would be interested to find out how it goes for you. Good luck.

This was the very first mod I made to my very first bike ('07 SB) and boy did it bring my ride to life! Huge increase in throttle response & acceleration, no decel pop... serious drop in mileage mind you (likely due to the increased acceleration - I just can't resist...) but all in all a fantastic tuner, and when you consider the savings you'll realize from not having to dyno the bike, I wouldn't have done it any other way

Got one for my 2008 FXDL. With the first one, I still had some surging and slow throttle response. I called teck support and after a few questions, they mailed me a new one specially programmed. No MORE PROBLEMS since.

I had one installed on my 2012 wide glide a couple weeks ago. Works great. Great throttle response, bike runs cooler, and my fuel mileage didn't drop any. Every now and then I get decel pop, but few and far between. My opinion, Cobra Fi2000 auto tuner works as described.

There was a long thread here a few months ago, you might want to see if you can find it.

I think the bottom line was that some people got lucky and it worked OK out of the box, some had to return it once or twice to get one that suited their bike and some never got it to work well.

Personally I think its over-hyped. It won't be a substitute for a proper tuner and, because it has no computer interface, if it doesn't work just right then you have no option but to return it. I think you would be better saving a bunch of change and just fit some Xieds.
