Is there anything wrong with the $60 risers? Are they about the same as Wild 1's, but just made in China? I don't want to throw away $60 to find out they're junk, but at the same time I don't want to spend 3x that if it's not necessary.

I was hoping not to have to change cables. I'm still debating on the bars, though. I think when I get the fairing mounted that should help answer the bar height question.
If you go with 9.5" risers you sure will need new cables. There's lots of choices at J&P cycles check DK cutoms and direct Harley parts too just to name few. Both those your looking at are shipping from Florida, I'll bet it's the same store. The last thing you want is a box at home with stuff that is going to look cheap up close and on the bike.
