When i bought the bike in feb (07 wide glide), it came with this seat and all i was told is its a sundowner. When i search google, or ebay it doesnt look like any of them. Its a solo w/passenger pillon and sits me alot higher and further back than a stock fxdl seat. I didnt like where it sat me and bought a used fxdl seat to replace it. Now i'd like to put it on ebay or craigslist but have no real idea what it is or what its worth. I was planning to keep it and send it out to be modded when it was convenient but... my rear tire is completely bald and tires fare expensive lol
Looks like my old sundowner w/pillion to me. Looks like it has a part number stamped on it, try looking it up.
The sundowner is an ok seat, dont think you will be getting too much out of it. I replaced mine with the mustang, which looks the same but more comfortable.
any idea what i'd expect to get out of it if i listed it on ebay? i see the solo's listed but not passenger. trying to scrounge up cash for a tire but if its not really worth anything i'd probably keep it to have modded.
