The 106 is a big bore I got from revolution cycles, bored out cylinders with flat top Kb pistons, stock bottom end. I ride like an ******* most of the time. Wink was suggesting the s&s 585 but I wanted the compression releases also since the springs will accept a high lift. Therefore gave me more option later if I decided to change cams again in the future.
S&S 585 Easy Start Cams, That way you dont need compression releases in the heads...

Have you considered this?
yeah, wink was pushing the easy start cams so I didn't have to do compression releases but I don't want to be stuck at only s&s cams if I change in the future. so I had him add them in the headwork

Just have him prep for the compression releases and run plugs in them. Then you can just remove the plugs and install comp releases later if u need them. Besides, if the 585 cams arent what you end up wanting, they make several options in the EZ start design.

Cams are kinda funny, cuz everyone has a opinion and preference, but for me I dont get hung up on all the hype. I just pick a popular choice cam, in the RPM range I run for the given displacement of my build. I have never had any regrets in choosing this way.
This method has been working for me for the last 20 years, prior to that I mostly rode 2 stroke MX bikes.
I have a 107" with SE 211 cams at 10.5-1 compression. They're not a high lift cam at all but work really well with higher compression. Dyno in 2 weeks but they definitely have lots of torque in the mid and upper range
Here is my dyno sheet with the woods 8-6 cams. I have a 103 with head work and high comp. pistons and a 2 into 1 exhaust with stock throttle body. So I'm guessing with your build your numbers would be better.
