Installed a set of rear LED's a couple weekends back. Also installed a run/brake/ turn controller and load equalizer. Everything worked perfectly when installed. I got back from a 400 mile trip and noticed that the left rear wasn't working anymore. No light at all. I noticed that the the wire had come out of the strut channel and was pinched. I re-ran the wire, but still have an issue. The run light goes on, but there is not a noticeable difference in the light brightness when I squeeze the brake. There is a slight difference, but not like it should be. Same on the turn signal, you can barely see it blink. Again, this is all on the left side.
The right side still works perfectly fine. I also hooked the left light to the right side wiring to be sure its not the light and the left light functions properly when I do that. Already contacted JP Cycle tech to see if the Kuryakyn controller I bought can be reset somehow. He said it can't, but suggested I disconnect all the wiring and then rewire to see if that fixes it. Before I do that, thought I'd check with this group to see if anyone has had this issue.
