alright so this would be for the people with supertrapp or who have had such exhaust.
Bottom line is I am set on getting the supertrapp 2:1 Supermeg (black) p/n 82771574 but no matter where I look it does not tell me if it will fit with forward controls. Sites do say it fits with OEM setup and controls. I ride a 2007 FXDC and it came with forwards... so thats OEM correct?
so after the if it will fit question theres another simple question of what comes with it? I am looking to buy it off another site like jp, kirk, or something like that and if they list the Part Number then all of the stuff that comes from the Supertrapp company?
realize yes this is basic stuff but when I order something $$$ I get nervous hitting that button (even though Im ready to hit it).
-oh and fun side is i get to buy it cause my pipe cracked when i came home from maui... awesome right! and yeah i spent all afternoon researching an trying to search sites.
I also am looking at full systems but I want to make sure that I can install footboards. In all the pictures that I have seen the Super Trapp SM sits high enough to utilize both mounts for the boards so I think forwards would have no problem
No ifs ands nor butts! The supermeg fits on with forwards. If it's 250 less your getting an amazing deal, the pipe will be stamped supertrapp, there are no knock-off supermegs sold in America! Especially not from J&P or Dennis Kirk. If you like it loud, low and rumbly you should order the open end cap. Congratz bro that pipe makes lots of raw power!
clang your awesome for posting that pic bro. got it from DK for 599 so im stoked... not riding sucks, esp when you come back home and want to get back on it. Thanks all for the help! hope it comes this week then new pics
