Default Need advice on shock absorbers FXDC

Hello,
I own a 2012 FXDC and ride in Paris, France. We had a bad winter and holes appeared on pavement and streets all over the city. My bike get 8.000 km in one year and my back hurts... I came to the conclusion that factory first mount shock absorbers are quite poor. Do you guys have advices on replacement shock absorbers at a high quality/price ratio?
Many thanks in advance
Eric

Ive driven off curbs (on accident) and have no need to slow down at railroad crossings with the progressive 970's. I weigh 200 lbs, the springs & dampening on these things work awesome

JRI shocks from www.motorcyclemetal.com -- don't get sticker shock with the retail prices he gives forum members a huge discount. They have made a real difference on my 2012 FXDC....I have the 13" "B" version.
