hey guys im contimplating windshields for my 06 bob, i saw the the clip on harley one and first thing i noticed was it stuck out farther than the headlight. which i dont like personally.
im trying to decide on which mephis shades windshield to buy im stuck between the sportshield and the memphis slims.

This is a stock HD detachable touring style. A little in front of the windhshield but no harm there. Been on some longer trips, no vibration, no distortion, room behind the shield for all the cables to fit properly without cramping. All in all, very satisfied.
Here is a couple of pics of my 06 Superglide with the H-D Quick Detachable Compact Standard height windshield. I actually like it pretty well, and it does make a big difference on the reduced fatigue on the longer trips. And while I feel my bike looks better without the windshield, I still dont think it makes the bike look bad.
Here's a picture of the detachable that came with my wideglide. It works okay I guess, I just think it's a little big andI wish I could lay it back a little more. Actually prefer to ride without it except for cold weather and longer trips.
