I think your on the right track by disconnecting the fuelpak. I once had one on my Sportster and it ran fine for about two months and then it went on the fritz, nearly threw my *** off. Not putting down your choices, but there are a lot of articles about the hypercharger as well and most of them are bad.

if you mean the butterflies on the hypercharger, yes they are working. checked for leaks around that too. It's been raining, so I haven't got around to putting the new plugs in.

I changed my plugs today and the old ones were so black and sooty. It ran a lot better after I put the new ones in, but now my check engine light is on. I think the hypercharger and the fuel pak have got to go.

Just a F.Y.I for anyone still following this thread. I checked my codes and I'm pretty sure it's a vacuum line issue with the hypercharger. The code was p0108.

another update.Found the vacuum leak! The vacuum hose connecting to my hypercharger was cracked where it inserts. Cleared the codes and trimmed the hose, then reconnected. Should be good to go. I'm still ditching the hypercharger and fuel pak

I would try just ditching the hypercharger first and see how that works. I have a fuelpak and haven't had and issues with it.

I had the bike out today and got the engine light again. It's throwing the same codes. I order the se heavey breather. I'm gonna put that on and see what happens.

How did you check for exhaust leaks? Did you buy a tool to check for exhaust leaks?

No tool for exhaust leaks. I keep looking for a vacuum leak and havent found any. Cleared the codes and took it up the street. Engine light came back on, but it was running strong. I don't know what the problem is. Going to put on the heavy breather and see what happens.
