i have a 2002 super glide. i had the clicking problem so i put a new battery in and fixed it for a month and now it just clicks again. i checked the battery when running and only has 9.60 volts. is it the stator or regulator? how do i check the regulator?

most likely stator... i would think if the regulator were bad it would be over charging...

un plug the stator side wire from the regulator and test the stator's output while the motor is running. If it is giving plenty of juice it's prob. the regulator.
Your best bet is to go to tech forums and post there.

Ok. It's the stator. I have contuinty from both pins to negative and when running I have no output from stator. Also battery tender ran all night and day

Knock on wood, I've had good service from Cycle Electric regulator. I'm on my second HD stator.
