Leak question...
Did a 150 mile ride today and noticed a small amount of fluid near the area where you would check the chain tension on the outer primary. It appeared fairly clear in color and was a small amout. It had an oil like consistantcy. My question is that area is held together by several allen bolts, is there a gasket behind there that may need replacing? Thanks for your input.

If it is the primary inspection cover you refer to, yes there is a gasket in there. You should follow the torque settings closely as you can warp the cover real easy over tightening it and cause an even bigger leak. Check the cover with a straight edge if you remove it to see if it is warped.

Went to the dealer today and just like you said, primary inspection cover was warped. They replaced it for free. I could hardly believe it. Although they did crack me for $500 a month back to replace all of the gaskets and o-ring. Well thats it for now thanks again for the help.
