Govno, apparently I am not enabled to send you a PM. Not sure why. I have allowed members to send me emails. Check my profile. If my email is not there use twowheels2013@outlook.com.

Sorry. Have to find out why I can't use the PM feature.

Red face dyna vibrations?

I knew I didn't want a bigger bike like a road king, and I wanted something that handled well (which led me to the dynas). I wasn't interested in the fat bobs or low bobs or sponge bobs style of bikes. It was either a super glide (and then add bags, wind screen, cast wheels) or the switchback. The Heritage Classic softtail also caught my eye, but not enough to 'switch' back...

If I hadn't found the cheap and effective fix to the vibration issue though, I'd be a lot unhappier with my bike. It fits me perfect, is big enough but not too big.
Hi, I bought a Street Bob about one month ago. I traded my Street Glide for something more nimble. I have been working on fixing its exhaust, to get rid of its popping and backfiring. I have been too busy sorting that out, to worry about its vibration. Now that my Street Bob runs as it should, I am beginning to notice its vibrations. After about one hour riding, I do notice the vibration, and my hands get tingling. Is there a quick and simple fix? Or is it something I need to live with?

Ride Safe....

1HD1C - after some research about the PM system I discovered you are correct. Thanks.

Are you aware of any success with Samson 2 into 2 street sweepers ? If I have to go aftermarket I am leaning toward black pipes.

Thanks for the info. In response to the owner's promise to get back to me no later than today I feel obliged to give him a chance to come up with a plan and contact me. I have always known him to be a fair person. Close of business is 6 pm.

After that if there is no contact I will decide what to do next. I am very anxious to get this resolved, either fixed (meaning no vibration and jiggly mirrors with blurred images) or returned to Harley. I spent all my extra cash buying this bike so I am not eager to buy my own after market system and then try to get reimbursed.

Again, thanks for your replies and sharing of information.

Have you tried the $5 clevis pin mod yet? Being right and standing on principle is great, but for $5 it might be worth a shot.

I noticed you say you have the Bassani Road Rage 2>1. Can you tell me more about that system and why you chose it. From the picture on Bassani's website it looks to be almost as long as the OEM muffler. Does it eliminate the cat? Does it use the original mounting brackets and holes or does it use its own system?

Oddly enough my dealer is listed as a Drag Specialties dealer - interesting. Did you put this system on to eliminate the vibration, or just because you liked it?
